Since Sassybax is a company committed to solutions for women, we thought what women wanted in addition to our second skin seamless shapewear, was something more seductive for the romantic times in their lives. The problem was, how to make shapewear sexy and pretty. I knew I personally was craving lace again. So I set out to search for it and found the most gorgeous lace in Austria. No one knows lace like the Europeans. Next came the fabric. It had to have shaping power, a silky touch, and keep you cool even in summer. So for the body of the garments, an American fabric mill came up with our brilliant new fabric. The solution was to make shapewear that looked like lingerie but functioned like shapewear.

When we launched this new collection at market recently, it hadn't yet been named. Everyone we showed it to from the buyers to the magazine editors had one thing to say and that was, "Wow! That is really pretty. I can't believe it's shapewear." Well it seemed only fitting that the name become Pretty. Thus, the name: The Pretty Collection by Sassybax.
